I have been working in the Online Marketing industry since 2005 after graduating from Florida Atlantic University. My areas of expertise are in Paid Search, Organic Search, Social Media Marketing and Conversion Rate Optimization. My background includes client side experience, managing search marketing efforts in-house as well as agency experience. I am certified by Google as an AdWords Qualified Professional and hold a BA in Business and Marketing from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.
I started my Search Marketing career working in 2005 as a Search Marketing Specialist for MoreVis, a $9.6M, six-time Inc. 500/5000 Interactive Marketing Agency. Here, I learned and developed my paid search skills from working with leading small and large companies in a variety of different industries. I created and managed hundreds of PPC campaigns totaling a budget spend of over 1 million per year.
In 2007, I then turned my talents to Natural Search when I became the Search Engine Manager with Native Remedies, LLC, a $1M+ market-leading brand of herbal and homeopathic remedies. I designed strategies to increase their market share, deliver more customers, and get more for their marketing spend, leveraging performance-driven SEO and SMO tactics. I began working in the PPC department and was quickly given the responsibility of spearheading the development of their SEO department where I more than doubled their traffic and revenue year-over-year. I later developed their Social Media Marketing Strategy where I optimized operations to function more efficiently. I also gathered actionable information and insights to determine the most effective means to communicate with their consumers on social networks and improve their overall social media marketing ROI.
In 2010, I worked as a Search Engine & Social Media Marketing Specialist at MediaWhiz, a $10M+ online performance marketing agency named the #11 – Best SEO Company by TopSEOS.com. I oversaw all the components of search engine optimization and social media marketing services for my clients, from technology to strategy and implementation. I was also responsible for guiding the development of MediaWhiz’s social media department, including the services offered and tools and tactics used, ensuring the agency offered the latest online marketing tactics.
